The Wadden Sea Board (WSB) is responsible for the protection of the natural heritage values of Wadden Sea World Heritage site. The WSB is preparing a trilateral Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) report to assess the cumulative impacts of all proposed projects, plans and programs in Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands on the Outstanding Universal Values of the Wadden Sea. This SEA is conducted in response to the request by the World Heritage Committtee, who expressed concerns about these cumulative effects. The NCEA was asked to advise on the draft scoping report.
